If you would like to apply for an internship, you will go through the customary selection procedure for the country concerned. This can involve telephone interviews and/or personal interviews with selected candidates and/or case studies. We are not only interested in your résumé to date, but also in your social skills and your areas of expertise. Our thematic interviews will focus on how you deal with strategic and entrepreneurial issues. To help us assess your analytical skills, your feeling for numbers and your ability to find solutions, we will also discuss brief case studies from our regular consulting practice with you.
Are you looking to start a career fresh from university? We know from your application where you have studied and what experience you have. What really interests us when we interview you is your personality and the way you tackle, structure and formulate creative solutions to various issues. In our recruiting process, we want to discover whether you have the skills that every Roland Berger consultant must have. These include analytical skills, an ability to focus on results, excellent communication skills and a solid command of numbers. In a variety of interviews, we will talk to you about themes and issues that have arisen in our day-to-day consulting business. We are not looking for the one "right" solution. We are more interested in your line of thought and argumentation and how you defend your ideas in the face of criticism.

Or in joining us after completing your MBA? We regularly conduct preliminary selection procedures at leading MBA schools in Europe and the USA. If our first impression is positive, we will invite you for a second round of interviews at one of our international offices, depending on where you would like to start. Aside from our on-campus recruiting activities, however, we are also happy to arrange a selection day at one of our offices.
For potential colleagues who already have professional experience, we always tailor the recruiting process to the individual situation. In the context of in-depth discussions with our experienced consultants and Partners, we will explore your potential and see what we both feel about the career prospects you might have at Roland Berger.
